Judging process for the 2015 Plain English Awards
The 2015 Plain English Awards People's Choice category were judged by more than 30 national and international plain English specialists and advocates.
Judges:
- assess the entries against the specific requirements for each award and the plain English criteria shown on this website
- select a shortlist of up to 10 entries for each award
- select up to 3 finalists from each shortlist
- choose a winner for each award.
Awards of Distinction
Finalists are told ahead of the Awards ceremony. Finalists, other than the winner, will receive an Award of Distinction.
Announcement of winners
The winners of each award will be announced at the Awards ceremony on 19 November 2015.
