Commonsense Organics
Overall, you’ve built a nice website that gives helpful, clear details and speaks to your user. For the most part, your structure helps people move through the website and find the details they want.
This website is attractive and engaging. It’s fun to read and informative without being heavy. It’s useful for the growing number of New Zealanders interested in ethically sourced, sustainable, and organic products.
I think the presentation is wonderful — crisp, clear and inviting. And the layout is visually very engaging and relevant too. Both these attributes draw readers in and reinforce the messages being presented.
We are delighted to have been selected as a finalist for the Best Plain English Communication in 2019! We are a values-based business trying to make the very best food, health and home choices available to consumers — products that are good for you, and good for the planet too.
Working in this space is not easy from a communications perspective as the information is complex, layered and sometimes contradictory. This means we really have to think about what it is we want to say and how our audience can best access that information in a meaningful way. It means a lot to us that we have been recognised as being successful in communicating our values, as this is what sets us apart from other food retailers.
