Best Plain English Sentence Transformation award — entry requirements for Category 4

This award recognises the best plain English rewrite of an ‘unplain’ sentence by a New Zealand organisation.

The original sentence must be difficult for its intended audience to understand.

Entries must:

  • include both the original sentence and the rewrite
  • be submitted by the organisation the sentence belongs to.

There is only one stage in the judging process for this award. The independent judging panel will be solely responsible for selecting the finalists and winner.

Extracts from documents edited or proofread by Write Limited are not eligible to enter the Best Plain English Sentence Transformation award category.
