Best Plain English Website awards
There are two awards in the Best Plain English Website category.
- Public Sector / Non-Government Organisation (NGO)
- Private Sector.
The Best Plain English Website awards recognise the best examples from each sector of very clear, reader-focused websites or intranets. Entries are judged against internationally accepted principles of plain English for webpages.
What you need to know
The judges assess the home page plus a minimum of five top and lower-level pages on the published site.
On the entry form you will be asked to give details of the website's purpose, the intended audience, and the results achieved. You will also be asked if the website was user-tested.
Public Sector / Non-Government Organisation
This award is open to all New Zealand public sector organisations and NGOs.
Private Sector
This award is open to any private sector organisation that has a New Zealand office.
