Media statement
Our vision is for all New Zealanders to get their money matters sorted. It’s an ambitious goal. As well as being a topic that many would rather not discuss, personal finance is riddled with complex concepts and terms.
When we redeveloped our Sorted website, we focused on ways to make this topic simpler. We have structured money management into three key areas — Think, Shrink & Grow — and introduced ‘next steps’ and ‘nudges’ to help people on their journey to becoming sorted.
We worked hard to keep our messages short and simple while still being helpful and friendly. We need communications that help us to achieve our goal, and plain English is essential to this.
