Every interaction we have with our customers is an opportunity to connect with them. And that opportunity slips us by if our communications are complex or wordy.
Our welcome brochure is one of the first communications our customers will receive from us after they join Contact. We have spent many hours on making the brochure easy to read and using plain words in areas that commonly use formal or technical language, such as explaining our key terms and conditions and describing how electricity and gas get from the source to the customer. We were careful about the language we used to describe our customer products too — we know our products so well but it’s all new to someone just joining us.
More than anything else, we want our customers to read the brochure and feel good about Contact and informed about the company and how we can help. We hope that this will encourage them to stay in contact with Contact and that they will feel comfortable to call or email us any time.
