Justine Cooper is the managing editor at the Plain English Foundation in Australia, which combines plain English training, editing, and auditing with a campaign for more ethical public language.
Justine is a technical editor with extensive experience in substantive plain English editing, information design, and template engineering. She has a Postgraduate Diploma in Book Editing and Publishing from Macleay College, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English from the University of Sydney.
After her studies, Justine moved to the UK and spent several years in the publishing industry in London. Most recently, she was a content developer at the British Standards Institution, where she worked closely with industry experts to draft standards in plain English.
