Judging process for the 2007 WriteMark New Zealand Plain English Awards

The 2007 WriteMark Awards will be judged by a panel of professional plain English practitioners and advocates. All decisions will be final. Information submitted for the awards will be treated as confidential. However, entrants must agree to have case studies of their entry, including winning documents, publicised at the awards and in various media after the event.

All entries except those in the Plain English Champion category

All entries except those in the Plain English Champion category go through a two-step process as follows:

Step 1: Entries are assessed against the WriteMark Plain English Standard

Step 2: Entries are judged by an independent panel of plain English experts and advocates
