Land Transport New Zealand (now part of NZ Transport Agency — Waka Kotahi) won the People's Choice — Best Plain English Website award

"The information on the Land Transport NZ website comes from many different parts of a large organisation. The average New Zealander has several transactions with us every year, so we need to communicate in plain English. It's especially pleasing that the site was nominated by a member of the public for the People's Choice award.
"Land Transport NZ and Transit NZ came together on 1 August to form the NZ Transport Agency (NZTA), and the commitment to plain English which has been recognised with this award will carry over to the development of our new NZTA website."
