‘An important part of PHARMAC's work is promoting the best possible use of medicines. We produce a range of written materials that are intended to help people to make informed choices about medicines and to use them safely and effectively. We work hard to ensure that our writing is clear and concise and that we keep in mind the viewpoint of our readers. PHARMAC saw a particular need for a resource that sensitively communicated the complex Herceptin story for women who were making decisions about their breast cancer treatment.
