The annual WriteMark New Zealand Plain English Awards honour New Zealand organisations that make clear communication a priority. These organisations know that plain English is good for business and essential to democracy.
There is also a People's Choice ‘Brainstrain’ Document award for the worst gobbledygook!
The WriteMark New Zealand Plain English Awards 2007 were held on 16 November at Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. Thank you to all those who entered and congratulations to the winners and finalists.
