Andrea played a key role in establishing AJ Park’s plain English culture, and she continued to lead the firm’s plain English journey until she left in 2011. AJ Park was awarded Best Plain English Organisation at the 2006 WriteMark Awards. In 2008, AJ Park’s client charter was a finalist for the WriteMark Best Plain English Document (private sector), and in 2009 the charter achieved the internationally recognised CrystalMark. In 2011, when AJ Park began a project to refresh its brand, both clients and staff nominated plain English communication as a value that helps define the essence of the AJ Park brand.
After several years working in the public sector, Andrea has recently returned to AJ Park to lead development of new services to the firm. Andrea is also currently studying towards a doctorate of strategic management through Victoria University.
