Melua has been involved in judging the WriteMark Plain English Awards for 4 years, and has been on the judging panel of the American ClearMark Awards for 2 years. Plain English is close to Melua’s heart and central to all her work, which for over a decade has involved planning, writing, and editing clear, useful content for public sector and corporate organisations.
Melua’s background is in corporate communications and journalism, and in 2005 she co-founded digital content company Writeclick. These days she writes from New Zealand’s remote and beautiful East Coast for clients in a wide range of sectors, from Antarctic heritage to global asset management and accounting.
