Kiwibank’s website is the clear winner in this category. It is laid out and written so that it is immediately clear what they do, who it’s for, and how you can complete the tasks. Here are some of our specific comments:
- Services are right at the top — easy to find, easy to use
- Good headings. Nice short paragraphs.
- Text is simple and short. They did a great job choosing words their customers use. They come off friendly and approachable.
- Links are good and the calculators are easy to use.
- The navigation is simple; and while there is a lot of text, it is easy to read.
This site is very flat, which is appropriate. Few people will come to it to look at the whole thing — they will most likely have a specific interest and want to quickly see the range of options available to them.
