DOC communicates with thousands of New Zealanders and international visitors every day. This can be through a range of media such as information boards in our national parks, outdoor safety pamphlets picked up in our visitor centres or the wealth of information available on our website. The information is often quite technical and detailed, but we're committed to making our messages as simple and as clear as possible. It's a win-win situation, because the clearer the message, the better the result for both the public and conservation.
