There are two awards in the Best Plain English Document category:
The awards recognise the best examples of plain English documents from each sector.
Entries are judged against internationally accepted principles of plain English. Documents that have been edited or proofread by Write Limited are not eligible to enter this award category.
Please send four hard copies of your document, in final published form, with the completed entry form.
This award is open to all New Zealand public sector organisations and NGOs. Each organisation may enter up to three complete documents written by their organisation. There is no limit to document length, but we encourage shorter entries where possible. Entries should be whole documents, rather than extracts.
This award is open to any private sector organisations that has a New Zealand office. An organisation may enter up to three complete documents written by the organisation.
