The New Zealand School of Dance is one of the Southern Hemisphere's leading tertiary dance institutions, designed to train the professional dancers of tomorrow.
Under the tutelage of an esteemed international faculty, the School offers a programme of technical and artistic excellence to meet the increasing choreographic demands of the 21st century.
I came back to New Zealand last year after having sung jazz in London. My background is in barbershop singing, which I pursued to an international level, but while living in London I decided to change direction and follow my true delight: jazz.
I absolutely love it!
I had a fantastic quartet who worked with me in London made up of a drummer, bass player, pianist and a guitarist, but generally I performed as a duo with pianists in Covent Garden restaurants and bars such as La Roche, PJ's Bar and Grill, Candy Bar, to name a few.
